“This chicken is a little dry,” Rashi says.
“Do you have to comment on everything?” his wife says.

The Korpotchniker Rebbe, the greatest scholar of his age, dies and goes to heaven, where he is greeted by Elijah the Prophet.
“It’s an honor to have you here,” Elijah says. “In your honor, Moses has prepared a banquet.”
“Ah,” says the Korpotchniker Rebbe. “And who’s the official who inspects the food to see it complies with the laws of kashrut?”
“Who’s the mashgiach?” says Elijah. “Why, Moses.”
“I’ll have the fruit plate,” the Rebbe says.
