My article “The Aftermath of Nazi Rule” in the October COMMANTARY contains an error which somehow crept in during the course of revision. On page 352 there is the statement that “the Bavarian government only recently opened one more (the fourth) university in Bavaria.” The fact is that the project was abandoned, after long and heated discussion.
