Milton Himmelfarb’s thorough analysis of the Jewish vote in the 1980 elections is outstanding [“Are Jews Becoming Republican?,” August]. Perhaps by hesitantly realizing that what’s good for the Jews is also good for the country and then acting on this perception, American Jews may be showing signs of the beginning of wisdom.
