He’s received a lot of attention on this blog lately, but I think this takes the prize for the most absurd sentence he’s typed: “Jimmy Carter is by far the best ex-president the United States has ever had.” Joshua Muravchik’s February 2007 article in COMMENTARY remains ever-prescient, especially in light of Kristof’s fatuous claim.
