Standpoint Magazine has just been launched in the UK. This new monthly, edited by veteran COMMENTARY contributor Daniel Johnson, is in line with many other efforts on the Continent to stem the tide of anti-American, anti-Israel, and anti-Western sentiment that runs across public and academic discourse in much of Western Europe. I have a column on European attitudes to Israel–a mixed baggage, to say the least!
