In the latest Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll, Obama ties his low mark at 43 percent approval. A few numbers stand out: by a large margin, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all believe that Republicans will focus on cutting spending, and Democrats, on raising taxes to address the deficit. Glad there is no confusion there. And as for the notion that the stimulus plan created millions of jobs, a large plurality of voters don’t buy it.
That might explain why the Democratic Congressional Campaign chair is admitting that 70 seats are in play. Makes you wonder what the real number is.
